TRUMP'S INITIAL CHALLENGES

Like his predecessor, President Trump and his staff were also faced with tremendous initial challenges. He now has the opportunity to take on those challenges after power was transferred over on Jan 20, 2017. The Trump administration had a mandate of a Republican controlled congress (house and senate) who also shared a victorious night during the Nov 8, 2016 election. In fact the Democrats the day after the 2016 President election in the worst shape they have been since 1938. It should be noted that the Democratic party lost over 1,000 seats during President Obama's 8 year tenure.

Top Challenges Trump Inherited From The Previous Obama Administration of 8 years:

1: A near $20 trillion debt. This is a mind numbing figure. The debt grew more under President Obama than all previous US Presidents....combined.

Ironically President Obama ran his initial Presidential campaign on "healing a divided nation".
