AMERICA'S INFRASTRUCTURE:  A

As President Trump takes office as the 45th President of the United States, a report was published stating America's infrastructure is close to failing. That's the assessment of the American Society of Civil Engineers, which released its 2017 "infrastructure report card"  that gave the nation's overall infrastructure a grade of D+.   More shocking stats show that there are nearly 56,000 bridges in the United States currently “structurally deficient”, more than one out of every four bridges more than 50 years old and “have never had major reconstruction work”,  America does not have a single airport that is considered to be in the top 25 in the world, and the average age of America’s dams is now 52 years, over two-thirds of the roads are “in dire need of repair or upgrades”. What actions will President Trump take to start fixing America's failing insfrastructure?

6/7/17: President Trump presented his vision to rebuild America’s infrastructure. The White House has dubbed this week “Infrastructure Week,” and has held events to promote the administration’s $1 trillion plan to revamp the nation’s infrastructure.
